  1. Batiste Dry Shampoo in Wild, $7.99

I have been hearing nothing but good things about this surprisingly affordable dry shampoo so I picked one up and it certainly did not disappoint. It makes my second and even third day hair look fresh, soft and bouncy while leaving the most beautiful scent. My main issue with a lot of dry shampoos is that they do not absorb well, so you get this white, dusty look after using – but this guy absorbed all excess grease and then disappeared without a  trace. I will definitely be repurchasing!

2. Sonia Kashuk Color Crazed 10pc. Brush Set$36.99

I picked this brush set up at my happy place (Target) because I loved the dark-teal color of the brush hairs. I mean, how gorgeous are they? Fortunately their quality is equally amazing so these babies are here to stay. They are all great and multi-functional brushes but the crown jewel is this little baby right here. It’s a contour brush with dense bristles that picks up the perfect amount of bronzer and carves out your cheekbones while perfectly following the natural curves of your face. Seriously, it makes contouring a snap, even if you’re not as experienced with makeup. In my opinion, this guy is worth the $36 price tag by itself, and the other 9 brushes are a bonus. This is a limited edition brush set that is currently available at Target in limited quantities, so I would grab them now if you’re interested.

3. Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer$32

I was on the fence about purchasing this primer but I’m so glad I did. This is an ultra-hydrating primer infused with Coconut Water to brighten up the skin while also smoothing the surface. It is so hydrating and lightweight I am tempted to use it as a moisturizer (don’t do that, I’ll let you know why in another post). Makeup glides right over it and blends to perfection. Did I mention it smells amazing? Like an island vacation? Well, it does. My only suggestion would be that if you have a very oily t-zone (as I do), layer a more mattifying primer to those areas only to control excess oil.

4. Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey, $26

I don’t think there is a beauty guru on the planet who has not tried this highlighter and come back to sing its praises. I am no exception. This beautiful illuminator gives me the most gorgeous, golden glow. If your goal is to attain a cheekbone highlight that can be seen from space – this is your guy.

5. Laura Geller Real Deal Concealer in Light

I had a hard time justifying the price of this concealer with how little product you actually get but once I used it it all made sense. This full-coverage concealer literally covers everything with one, tiny drop. It is a very thick consistency but still blends flawlessly. It’s perfect for highlighting as well as covering undereye bags and dark circles. Set it with a translucent powder for zero creasing and all-day staying power.

6. Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Berry & Melted Fig, $21

I originally bough this lip color for the novelty, I mean, it’s a lipstick melted down into a liquid. That’s pretty cool. Once I used it, however, I was officially hooked. This lip color is bold, vibrant, creamy, blendable and very long lasting. You’re getting all the color payoff and staying power of a matte to demi-matte lipstick in a very easy to use format. I love how smooth they glide on and how easy they are to apply. My two favorites for this season are without a doubt the Berry and Fig. The Berry is a gorgeous cranberry color that can be deepened with liner and the Fig is a soft, plum-mauve that can be dramatic or subtle depending on how you do the rest of your makeup. Either way, they’re both extremely versatile and flattering.

7. Glamglow Powermud DualCleanse Treatment$19

I purchased the smaller sized version of this mask so I could see how it worked for me and it looks like I’ll need to be ponying up for the full size soon. I have long been loyal to my Glamglow Powermud Clearing Treatment but this is an amazing mask to alternate with. It leaves my skin soft, clean, and super-bright plus it smells AMAZING. I have zero complaints about Glamglow’s entire product line (that I’ve tried) – their treatments and cleansers always do exactly as they promise.

8. Apple iPhone 6S Plus$749

I took the plunge on the new iPhone 6S Plus and am not disappointed. I’m sure it does all sorts of awesome techie stuff but really, it’s all about the camera on this one guys. I typically use my Sony A5100 for blogging but I am reaching for my iPhone more and more. Not to mention the front-facing flash…it’s like they heard my prayers. I also love the new Live photo feature which captures three seconds of video along with every still image so when you press on it, it appears like an animated GIF. It’s not so much functional as it is just, cool. Take all my money, Apple, per usual.
