It’s official. The holidays are over. Let’s have a moment of silence,
…
Ok, that’s done. Now let’s talk about your holiday cash. Is it burning a hole in your pocket? Say no more. Here are 5 of my favorite things to spend my Christmas money on.
(1) Lululemon Align
Some of us (me) might have packed on a few during the holidays. Those tamales and cookies will get you. Luckily the Rolls Royce of leggings exists, and it’s these. They are high waisted, suck everything in, are never see-through and they’re cut perfectly at the ankle. If you have an extra $100 lying around, throw it at Lululemon, you won’t regret it. Tip: These STRETCH like crazy so size down! If you have a brick and mortar store near you, they will tailor the leggings for free.
(2) Tula Hydrating Day/Night Cream
On the quest for the perfect moisturizer, this one fell into my lap and I haven’t looked back. It’s lightweight enough for the day, but nourishing enough for the night and never feels greasy. It’s packed with antioxidants and probiotics to lock all the good stuff in and is worth every penny. It doesn’t have an SPF, so make sure you layer one on top in the daytime. Here’s my favorite.
(3) Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Socks
My dream in life is to own the Barefoot Dreams blanket but, alas, it’s $200 so in the meantime, I’ll just wear these socks and think about a life where I can spend $200 on a blanket. They are warm, cozy and are the perfect little splurge.
(4) Adidas NMD_R1
Cute sneakers are my love language and these are my all-time favorites. They are lightweight, come in tons of cute colors, and are cut perfectly below the ankle so you can wear them with pretty much anything. They’re comfy and last forever so definitely worth the splurge. Treat yourself. Note: Order a size down)
I was kind of convinced I had left designer jeans back in 2008 until I tried these bad boys on. They are buttery soft, stretchy, and high waisted enough to hold it all in. They are forgiving enough for basically any body type and pair perfectly with bodysuits, tee shirts, and sweaters. They’re my new obsession. They come in a variety of cuts and washes but the “Good Waist” version is my favorite, for the booty lift it gives. Note: These run big in standard sizes and is TTS in plus. So if you’re a standard size, order 1-2 sizes down. These are STRETCHY.
