There were so many amazing things I was reaching for this month it was hard to narrow it down to just a handful – but here are my very favorite products for the month of September!
You have to be living under a rock to have not at least heard of this guru-favorite. Morphe outdid themselves with this incredibly beautiful eyeshadow palette, packed with 35 warm-toned shades that are perfectly pigmented. This baby is perfect for creating countless Autumn looks – and the price tag is unbeatable for the value.
**Morphe put up a presale for this palette this morning, and it sold out in hours. Follow them on Instagram for restock details!
I am obsessed with whitening my teeth. Unfortunately, most whitening systems make my teeth so sensitive it’s hard to even breathe without it being uncomfortable. This awesome 2-step system allows you to whiten your teeth dramatically (and gently) while you brush. Just brush with the Brilliance toothpaste for 60 seconds as you normally would, spit (don’t rinse), and brush for 60 more seconds with the hydrogen peroxide whitener. I’m halfway through the tubes and my teeth are crazy white – with no sensitivity!
3. ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Clueless, Midi, and Tulle, $6
I have been singing the praises of ColourPop on this blog for some time (Here and Here) so its no surprise that these babies made my favorites this month. They are the perfect consistently and dry to a matte finish that doesn’t feel cakey. I would be hard pressed to find a shade I DIDN’T like but I have been keeping these three on rotation this month.
I have to admit that I bought this brush because it is rose gold and GORGEOUS but I keep reaching for it because it’s perfect for applying highlight! The weight distribution is amazing so you get a flawless application every time. I have heard great things about this line and will definitely be adding more of these brushes to my collection.
5. Pixi Glow Tonic, $15
I’m pretty picky about my skincare but received a sample of this baby in an Allure Beauty Box and fell in love. This alcohol-free toner leaves my skin perfectly prepped for makeup. Just apply it with a cotton pad after cleansing and follow with moisturizer!
I have been a pretty loyal Ben Nye user for awhile but this amazing product converted me – quickly. The finely milled powder sets concealer perfectly without looking chalky and prevents makeup from creasing. Honestly – applying concealer without this should be a crime.
7. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured in Opal, $38
This is a pricey item but trust me, worth every penny. I am obsessed with the pressed powder version of this highlighter so when I stumbled on the cream version – not buying it was out of the question! This smooth cream highlight glides on amazingly and blends to perfection with fingers or a brush. Layer the powder version on top for a highlight sent from the GODS.
I have a lot of hair. It’s wavy, it’s heavy, and if it doesn’t “agree” with the products I put in it it’s completely uncooperative. On days when I want to wear my hair natural, this is my go-to product. It uses coconut water to infuse strands with moisture without weighing down my waves. Not to mention it smells AMAZING.
I only started experimenting with drugstore foundations in the past month because I never truly believed they could stand up next to any of the prestige brands I’m used to. This foundation truly lives up to the hype. It has amazing coverage and although it doesn’t last as long as a department store brand, it will get you through the day without getting oily or sheer. There is an impressive shade selection and at under $10 a pop – why wouldn’t you give it a try?
